A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson (spoiler-free review)

TRIGGER WARNING- so, in this book there is mention of sexual assault. From memory it's never described in any way it's just something that Pip finds out about another character's past (can't remember who) but it ends up being quite essential in the story and it continues into book 2. I haven't read book 3 so I don't know if it's mentioned again.

So, I fist read this in,🤔 oh, in May. At the time I was like meh. It's okay. I only really read it cause of the hype and my friend wanted me to read it but I wanted to give up a few times. I didn't, it just took me about three days to get through it because I couldn't be arsed to listen to it. A couple weeks later, me and my friend got in touch and they lent my their sequel to book number two. I went home with it and started reading it but was tf is going on. It had been a while since I read it so I was like imma re-read the first book. I finally got round it to it and I failed miserably. I just couldn't finish it.

Breathless by Jennifer Niven (review)

This was apart of my tbr authors list  so I was like, "Imma do a review" 'cause why not. So first of, Jennifer Niven is the author of "All the Bright Places" which has been made into a netflix movie and that was how I discovered her and her books. To be honest, I really do a pprop riate "All the Bright Places" 'cause it got me through some dark times when I was just struggling and it made me feel like I wasn't alone but I do have to say that "Holding up the universe" is probably her best book and because of that it became fairly obvious that she was a GOOD author. Like most people who have one big hit... let's just say it's for a reason... BUT Jennifer did not disappoint. I wanted to read more, and then she did disappoint... 😮‍💨.   Autumn 2022 Authors Okay so this is a bit late but fuck it, we're doin' it anyway. Around this time a lot of people who talk about books (w ha t nerds 😅 ) ta lk about wha t they want to read. Yeah no, that's not how I work. Life needs flexibility bitches (but I need blog posts cause I'm bored). For some random reason that is definitely   not written in any bracket, I decided to choose some of the authors I want to listen to more of. Edit: Looking back at this I really need some diversity. All of these authors are female, white and blond... Next time we are gonna get some variety in here. Jennifer Niven Out of all the famous authors she's definitely the most underrated since she literally ownly ever gets credited with "All the Bright Places". To me this is insane. I haven't even read the majority of her books and I already know that it's bullshit. "Holding Up the Universe" was enough to prove that to me so I'm hoping to read more of...
