Everything problematic about Fallen by Lauren Kate (SPOILERS)

RANT WARNING (and if you hate feminism get out of here)...

. Lucinda has no personality. If you asked me how to describe her personality i'd be like 🤔... idk
. It's literally a twilight ripoff
. When Cam and Lucinda do kiss 🤮 Daniel gets all pissy. If they were dating, fair. If Lucinda knew how much he liked her and just used him, fair. But NONE of that happened. He was so hot and cold, they kissed, nothing more.  
. Daniel is horrible to her but apparently it's a turn on now??? When Penn pointed that out to her I was like 🙏🙏🙏 but then, of course, Lucinda denies it.
. The only difference between this and twilight is that Lucinda stalks Daniel instead of Daniel stalking Bella. Oh wait it's Lucinda. THAT'S HOW SIMILAR THEY ARE.
. The author makes Lucinda hate and despise the other girls because she's jealous. Whatever happened to ✨sisters before misters✨?
. Cam basically forces her to kiss him and she's like "I didn't want to but once it started I felt so safe and it was the best kiss of my entire life"?!

. Daniel punches Cam when he touches Lucinda even though it does not concern him whatsoever.
. Finally, WHY DOES LUCINDA HAVE TO BE SUCH A PUSH OVER????? It's so annoying. As soon as Daniel wants or says something she's like "oh my god, how could I ever keep a secret from such a handsome face."


If you still want to read this after reading my review, there is something wrong with you but it's okay, there are many things wrong with me. To be fair, there are some good things about fallen but I'd say that if you want to listen to this, listen to twilight instead. Still, here's the audiobook link.

  Autumn 2022 Authors Okay so this is a bit late but fuck it, we're doin' it anyway. Around this time a lot of people who talk about books (w ha t nerds 😅 ) ta lk about wha t they want to read. Yeah no, that's not how I work. Life needs flexibility bitches (but I need blog posts cause I'm bored). For some random reason that is definitely   not written in any bracket, I decided to choose some of the authors I want to listen to more of. Edit: Looking back at this I really need some diversity. All of these authors are female, white and blond... Next time we are gonna get some variety in here. Jennifer Niven Out of all the famous authors she's definitely the most underrated since she literally ownly ever gets credited with "All the Bright Places". To me this is insane. I haven't even read the majority of her books and I already know that it's bullshit. "Holding Up the Universe" was enough to prove that to me so I'm hoping to read more of...

Breathless by Jennifer Niven (review)

This was apart of my tbr authors list  so I was like, "Imma do a review" 'cause why not. So first of, Jennifer Niven is the author of "All the Bright Places" which has been made into a netflix movie and that was how I discovered her and her books. To be honest, I really do a pprop riate "All the Bright Places" 'cause it got me through some dark times when I was just struggling and it made me feel like I wasn't alone but I do have to say that "Holding up the universe" is probably her best book and because of that it became fairly obvious that she was a GOOD author. Like most people who have one big hit... let's just say it's for a reason... BUT Jennifer did not disappoint. I wanted to read more, and then she did disappoint... 😮‍💨.
