AUTUMN 2022 TBR AUTHORS

 Autumn 2022 Authors

Okay so this is a bit late but fuck it, we're doin' it anyway. Around this time a lot of people who talk about books (what nerds😅) talk about what they want to read. Yeah no, that's not how I work. Life needs flexibility bitches (but I need blog posts cause I'm bored). For some random reason that is definitely not written in any bracket, I decided to choose some of the authors I want to listen to more of.

Edit: Looking back at this I really need some diversity. All of these authors are female, white and blond... Next time we are gonna get some variety in here.

Jennifer Niven

Out of all the famous authors she's definitely the most underrated since she literally ownly ever gets credited with "All the Bright Places". To me this is insane. I haven't even read the majority of her books and I already know that it's bullshit. "Holding Up the Universe" was enough to prove that to me so I'm hoping to read more of her work so can prove everyone else wrong. BOOK REVENGE *evil laughs*

K. Webster

She was brought up because of the darker romances I like and at first I actually thought she was guy until I saw she presented as female... Anyway, ignoring my stupidity, I have already begun this journey with "Wicked Lies Boys Tell" and "The Day She Cried". I definitely preferred "The Day She Cried" and lost interest about half-way through "Wicked Lies Boys Tell". So far, not my favorite writer but she' s highly rated so hopefully I'll find an easy 5 star in her work.

Colleen Hover

So, I'm pretty sure we all know Colleen Hoover and most people into romance have read at least one of her books. I've only actually read one, "Hopeless" which I rated 3 stars. I got through it, it was okay but I didn't really care. Still I haven't read any of her top hits and I did still enjoy the dark storyline. When I was researching her books she definitely focuses more on dark romance books which is totally my thing so I'm trying out some of her stuff.

Penelope Douglas

I swear to god there is like a competition between who's best, Colleen Hoover or Penelope Douglas. Honestly I'm leaning towards Colleen Hoover purely because of "Credence". If you like Penelope DO NOT read that book. It's so wrong for so many reasons but I'm hoping that was just a one time thing. I still love her other books but I'm kind off torn between ignoring that book and boycotting her. Obviously, I have given in to my unmoral side but she's just so good. Anyway, getting to the point, I'm reading her "Devil's Night series." Please don't be really sexist again 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
